Online Assistant puts help a mouse click away When you work with Minnesota Life, there are people behind all the convenience technology brings you. To help employees get the answers to their insurance enrollment and service questions, we've added "Online Assistant" to our award-winning insurance management web site. It's just one more way that we integrate the newest technology with our personalized customer service – to give employees answers when they need them. If employees need assistance but don't want to log off the web site, help is just a mouse-click away. Employees can be chatting live within minutes. It's as easy as typing in the text box and pressing enter when ready to send the message. Getting answers is easy – and instant! When employees click the Online Assistant link, it alerts our call center. Customer service representatives (CSRs) can give employees the answers they need – right away – because automated screen popping puts detailed information about the employee's plan on the CSR's computer desktop. When employees log off, they get a full transcript of the Online Assistant session to reference again or keep for their records. We haven't forgotten the most important feature of technology – making life easier for people.
